Description
Accuris Quicksilver™ Tris-Glycine-SDS (TGS) powdered buffer packs: Add pre-measured pack to 1 L of dH2O and stir for fresh 1X TGS buffer.
Quick-dissolving (5 minutes or less). No pH adjustment necessary (pH 8.1-8.5).
TGS is used as a running buffer during SDS-PAGE of proteins using Tris-HCl polyacrylamide gels.
Quicksilver buffers are available for use during nucleic acid electrophoresis, protein electrophoresis, Western blotting, ELISA and cell culture.
1X TGS solution contains 25 mM Tris, 192 mM Glycine and 0.1% SDS. Nuclease- and protease-free.
Powdered buffer packs come in a convenient, space-saving dispenser box, 50 pouches/pack.
Makes 50 L of 1 X TGS. Equivalent to 5 L of 10X TGS.
