Celltreat Scientific Untreated 1 Well Cell Culture Plates. One well plates have same rectangular footprint as standard multi well plates.
1 well cell culture plates have flat well bottoms with non-treated surfaces for cell types that require only passive or no attachment to the plate surface. They are made of high quality, crystal clear polystyrene and are sterile, DNase and RNase free and non-pyrogenic.
Single well cell culture plates have a condensation ring that helps prevent evaporation of cell culture media, and have vents for gas exchange.
Celltreat single well and multiwell plates lock into each other when stacked, to prevent a stack from collapsing in the incubator.
97.4 cm² cell culture surface area. Media working volume of 19.5 to 48.7 mL. Individually-packaged, 50 plates/case.
Use untreated multiwell plates for culturing macrophages and embryoid bodies, for example.
