MTC Bio brand 4.5 mL Disposable Cuvettes made of optically-clear polystyrene.
Cuvettes measure 12.5 x 12.5 x 45 mm and have square openings.
These polystyrene cuvettes are designed for quantification in the visible spectrum (light wavelength range of 340-800 nm).
It is noted elsewhere that polystyrene cuvettes are also useful for quantification outside of this spectral range, and are used successfully, for example, to measure DNA and RNA concentrations at 260 nm and protein concentration at 280 nm.
MTC Bio 4.5 mL disposable cuvettes have a standard path length of 10 mm. Path length refers to the distance that light emitted from the spectrophotometer travels through the sample within the cuvette.
