Western Blot Boxes for Blocking and Antibody Incubation.
Hinged lid. Western blot boxes measure 11.1 x 5.2 x 4.7 cm (4 3/8 x 2 1/16 x 1 7/8 in) and is made of high clarity polystrene.
Minimum volume required to cover the membrane is 3 mL. Ideal use for blotting membranes that are cut into strips when the user is optimizing primary and secondary antibody concentrations.
Various blot box shapes and sizes are available, allowing the user to select the smallest vessle that fits the PVDF or nitrocellulose membrane…a cost saving measure to reduces the amount of buffer and antibody used during blocking and incubation.
Two different sized black boxes are also available for use during fluorescent western blotting (Cat # BBX0300 & BBX0700).
