Description
#1.5 coverslip thickness glass bottom cell culture dishes, tissue culture treated, for use in high resolution imaging, such as confocal microscopy. Ideal for use in immunocytochemistry.
Glass bottom cell culture dishes are a cost effective, easier alternative to culturing your cells and immunostaining—for subsequent high resolution microscopy—using larger cell culture dishes with coverslips.
Celltreat glass bottom culture dishes measure 30 x 10 mm, and have a circular, 15 mm diameter, recessed bottom made of borosilicate glass.
Glass bottom dishes have an offset bottom, allowing for easy pickup and lid removal and lids have a stacking ring for better stability. Air exchange vents. Media working volume of 1.4 to 3.5 mL. 1.77 cm² cell growth area. Sterile and non-pyrogenic. DNase and RNase free.
(The offset bottom means that the very bottom of the culture dish is molded to stick out so that it is even with the lid of the dish; this helps the user grab the dish by the bottom rather than accidentally by the lid.)
(The stacking ring is a ring molded into the very edge of the top of the lid of the culture dish so that a dish stacked on top of cannot easily slide off.)
Packaged 10 dishes/resealable bag, 50/case.
