Description
PureAmp™ frosted 0.1 mL qPCR 8-tube strips with separated flat optical strip caps. For use in nucleic acid detection by means of Quantitative Polymerase Chain Reaction.
Optically clear caps allow the uninterrupted passage of fluorescent light to/from the Real-Time PCR instrument, which helps provide the best sample detection.
Frosted tubes reduce fluorescence refraction during qPCR (which is higher when using clear tubes), enhancing signal detection of the sample (i.e. better signal-to-noise ratio), but also prevent signal saturation (which can happen when using white tubes) where too much signal is reflected back to the Real-Time PCR instrument.
MTC Bio 0.1 mL qPCR tubes are free of DNase, RNase and PCR inhibitors.
