Western Blot Box for Blocking and Antibody Incubation.
Hinged lid. Western blot box measures 9.5 x 3 x 1.6 cm (3 3/4 x 1 3/16 x 5/8 in) and is made of high clarity polystyrene.
Minimum volume required to cover the membrane is 2 mL. Ideal use for blotting membranes that are cut into strips when the user is optimizing primary and secondary antibody concentrations.
Various western blotting container shapes and sizes are available, allowing the user to select the smallest vessle that fits the PVDF or nitrocellulose membrane…a cost saving measure to reduces the amount of buffer and antibody used during blocking and incubation.
