Benchmark Scientific Digital Hotplate Magnetic Stirrer.
Dual function digital hotplate magnetic stirrer has a durable, chemical resistant, white ceramic top plate that measures 7 x 7 in (18 x 18 cm).
Hotplate temperature ranges from 35°C to 400°C. Magnetic Stirrer speed ranges from 150 rpm to 1,500 rpm.
Plate surface is large enough to accommodate a 2 L Erlenmeyer flask (diameter approx. 15.6 cm) and possibly a 3 L Erlenmeyer flask (diameter approx. 18.5 cm). Magnetic stirring function is powerful enough to stir viscous solutions and volumes up to 5 L.
Microprocessor controlled, rapid, precise turn knob adjustment of temperature and stirrer speed.
LEDs indicate activation of heating and stirring.

Available for purchase and sold separately for use with this unit are:
- Temperature probes that connects to the microprocessor of the unit, actively monitor the temperature of the solution being heated and adjust the hotplate’s temperature accordingly. Two temperature probes are available. One is made of stainless steel and the other of teflon.
- A clamp assembly that mounts to the unit and holds a thermometer or temperature probe in the solution being heated.
- A support rod (to be used with your own clamp assembly setup).
