7.3 x 3 cm Western Blot Boxes for Blocking and Antibody Incubation.
Western blot boxes have hinged lids, measure 7.3 x 3 x 1.9 cm (2 7/8 x 1 3/16 x 3/4 in) and are made of high clarity polystrene.
Minimum volume required to cover the membrane is 1 mL. Ideal use for blotting membranes that are cut into strips when the user is optimizing primary and secondary antibody concentrations.
Various blot box shapes and sizes are available, allowing the user to select the smallest vessel that fits the PVDF or nitrocellulose membrane…a cost saving measure to reduces the amount of buffer and antibody used during blocking and incubation.
