100-place cardboard freezer boxes have liquid-resistant coating, attached, hinged, flip top lids, include pre-inserted 100-place dividers and come available in various colors.
100 place freezer boxes are good for use with 0.5 mL, 1.5 mL and 2.0 mL minicentrifuge tubes and 1 mL to 2 mL (e.g. 1.8 mL) internally-threaded cryovials.
Some externally-threaded cryovials are a little too wide to fit well into 100-place boxes; 81-place boxes are recommended for externally-threaded 1 mL to 2 mL cryovials, and are available for purchase here.
MTC Bio FlipTop™ cardboard freezer boxes are made of recycled cardboard, have drain holes in the bottoms of the boxes and alpha-numeric coding on the tops, sides and insides for easy sample identification.
